Preschool Profile 

Kiddie College is an extension of St. Stephen United Church of Christ and is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.  It is our mission to provide a safe, structured, caring and developmentally appropriate environment for preschool children ages 3-5.  Our school seeks to create a stimulating early childhood education experience which emphasizes the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of each child.  Basic Christian values and teachings are stressed, Christian holidays are observed and prayer is encouraged.

Kiddie College offers 8 different class sessions for various age groups and maintains one teacher per classroom with a maximum of 10-11 students per class and two aides for the School.  We accept all applicants who are age appropriate by September 30th and fully toilet trained.  Admission may be refused to any applicant if the custodial parent does not give consent for emergency transportation.

Our daily program consists of:

    1. Opening/Group Learning Time (30 minutes)

    2. Learning Centers/Art & Table Activities (55 minutes)

    3. Big Play (15 minutes)

    4. Learning Games/Music (20 minutes)

    5. Snack/Restroom Time (15 minutes)

    6. Story Time/Review (15 minutes)

    7. Individualized Instructional Time (varies according to need)
