Reading Stars Program Overview

We are excited to announce that our Reading Stars Program will continue in the same format as

last year! The students excelled, and we look forward to their ongoing growth.

Book Selections

Books are grade-specific for 3rd-4th Grade and 5th-6th Grade. This ensures that all students are

reading appropriate literature for their grade levels.

Program Requirements

Each student must read one book per quarter and submit a report using the designated

form.

If students read one additional chapter book each semester, they will qualify for the end-

of-year party/outing.

To be eligible for the party/outing, students must independently read and complete a

report for a total of six books by the specified deadlines.

Note: Books and reports can be handed in before the deadline dates.

Reading Options

Students have two choices for their reading selections:

Read four books from the Reading Stars list (does not qualify student to participate in the end of the year party/outing).
Read four books from the Reading Stars list and two-chapter books of their choice from the school library (with prior teacher approval).
Alternatively, read all six books from the Reading Stars list.
