Mrs. Timbra Hilton

Mission:

I am excited to be your social studies teacher.  I have been teaching at St. Joseph Middle School since 2006.  I always knew I wanted to be teacher but it wasn't until college when I realized I wanted to inspire the young minds of middle schoolers and show them just how interesting social studies can be.   I have a passion for teaching about our nation's past, present, and future. 

Biography:

I have been married for 14 years to my wonderful husband, Paul.  We have three children:  Hannah-30, Josh-28, and Holt-10.  We are also blessed with a beautiful granddaughter, Evren-1.  We also have a Yellow Lab name Hero and a Chihuahua named Henry, and one cat named Georgia.  We live in the town Paul and I both grew up in, Royal.

St. Joseph-Ogden H.S 1996-2000

Associates of Liberal Arts from Parkland College 2000-2003

Bachelors of History and Secondary Education from University of Illinois 2003-2006

Qualifications:

Certified in history, economics, language arts, psychology, sociology, geography, and gifted education.

Hobbies:

Coaching 7/8 Volleyball at PVO

Camping and Boating every weekend

Playing with my son and pets

Spending time with my step-children and granddaughter

Listening to music

Helping my Dad and Mom farm (I get to drive a tractor and semi!)
