Welcome to my class website. I look forward to working with each student to improve their mathematical skills. Success can be obtained by all students, regardless of their previous ability, as long as they focus on the lessons and group work, have the discipline to complete all assignments to the best of their ability, and persevere even when it is hard.
Tutoring and Extra Help
It is essential that all students seek help when they need it. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we have Tutorials between 5th and 6th hours. This time will be used to address areas of weakness I find and gives each student a chance to get additional help if needed.
I can be available by 8 am by appointment only and must be arranged either through email no later than 10 pm the previous day or in person before the end of the school day. Additionally I will be available most days after school for up to an hour by appointment. Either way it is the responsibility of the student to arrange transportation to or from school.

· I believe in mastery of skills. “Achieving mastery” is trying multiple times to gain understanding and establishing successful skills to solve problems using mathematical concepts. You don’t have to rely on just one attempt for your grade. Utilize the “Achieving Mastery” policy I have in place to be rewarded for mastery of each math concept. The more you master the concepts, the higher your grade.
