Skills Trainer

The skills trainer through our textbook is a great way for students to continue practicing the skills we learn or previous skills they learned in other grades that they may need work on. Below are the step by step instructions that they use after logging into Big Ideas online textbook. If you don't know how to do that please click on the "Textbook" tab and follow those directions.

Once on Big Ideas click on the menu at the top right with three lines pictured below.

Then click on the "Skills Trainer" menu option.

Once in here you will see math topics separated by the grade level it is considered to primarily have been taught. As an example, for Chapter 1 we use skills in the Grade 7 under "Algebraic Expressions" and Grade 8 under "Equations".
