Here is a link to an on-line, free graphing calculator that will graph, work with matrices, and do what we need with statistics. I have played with it a little and it seems pretty user friendly. It is limited with what it does with matrices, however.

If you have a smart phone, go to the app store and search 'wabbitemu'. You can download that and choose the 'open source' option in the setup. This can be helpful for at home, but will not be allowed in class or on tests.
