Courtesy Card holders can pay to activate a Partner Pass that offers entry to at ticketed athletic events. Stanford Athletics also sells a Child Pass. Find pricing information and instructions on obtaining the passes at the link above under "Partner & Child Passes."
There are over 20 libraries on campus, and Courtesy Card holders can access all of them. Card holders may borrow books and media from most library locations.
This includes access to gyms, swimming pools, tennis courts, racquetball, squash, and the rock climbing wall.
Use your card to access coupons and other great deals for retailers in the greater Stanford/Palo Alto Area.
Courtesy Cards are photo identification cards issued to certain University affiliates, including spouses and domestic partners of current students. Courtesy Cards can be used throughout campus for access to libraries, recreation facilities, some dining halls, and for discounts at local vendors.
To apply for a Courtesy Card, visit the ID Card Office during their hours of operation with your student partner. Both individuals must be present and provide government issued ID and the student must provide their valid Stanford ID Card. Please note you must provide proof of partnership detailed on their website. A $25 application fee is billed at the time of the card request.

Bring partner to Facilities office (CM004) to sign ID Card User Agreement
Verify vaccination status with Facilities staff (CM004) confirming they are a vaccinated "Temporary Community Member"
Sign the access agreement form.
At the GSB, all partners are welcome to use GSB spaces during business hours. GSB facilities can be used after hours by partners accompanied by a current student. Courtesy Card holders may request access to the Bass Center and the GSB locker rooms. In order to have the card activated for these spaces, the student and partner must come together to CM004 during office hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Restrooms: GSB Restrooms on the 1st floor of classroom buildings and CEMEX are open Monday through Friday 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Additionally, restrooms in the Class of 68 building are open 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, and 7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, except during holiday weekends. Gender-Neutral/All-Gender Restrooms are located throughout the GSB. These include a restroom in the Faculty Building East next to E120 and E146, one restroom per floor in the Bass Center on floors 1-4, and two ground floor bathrooms in the GSB Residences near the event space.
GSB Facilities for Students with Infants: Infant changing stations are located in select restroom locations around the Knight Management Center. These include:
· Faculty Building East near E102
· Bass Center first floor
· Zambrano Hall/North Building by CEMEX and Arbuckle Dining Pavilion
· Gunn Building first floor
· McClelland Building first floor
· Class of 1968 Building first floor
· Patterson Building first floor
Additionally, partners with Courtesy Cards may be granted access to the lactation suite in the basement of Bass and other wellness rooms at the GSB. Please reach out to the Student Support team to be granted access to the GSB lactation suite, and/or to inquire about additional lactation support spaces around campus.
