Lydia Schneider- SRVTIP Coordinator

Lydia began her teaching career in San Francisco way back in 1970, teaching at Notre Dame High School, San Francisco. From there, she moved to Notre Dame High School in Belmont, CA. and then took "off" seven years to raise her family of three sons, who all attended SRVUSD schools. She moved into public education at California High School in San Ramon in 1986, where she taught English. Lydia has been in the SRVUSD ever since, and has worked as a teacher, SRVEA representative, and mentor teacher for more than 25 years. As of 2000, she became a full time TIP mentor for new teachers. Lydia became the SRVTIP Coordinator in 2003.

When she is not supporting teachers, Lydia loves playing with her grandchildren, Ben, Brook, James, Luke and Hayes, and celebrating an endless stream of family events.
