During this training, student cadets will not have their phones, devices, or other electronic devices. In fact, you can't bring anything to this training that requires electricity, except for a simple battery-operated alarm clock!
Our trainings require students to develop certain life skills, which include leadership and teamwork skills. If you're constantly on your phone, it's impossible to learn those skills.
Time spent on social media and the Internet is mostly wasted time. You can't ever get it back. And so, for one week, we're going to force you to disconnect from it all and practice interacting with your peers directly, that is, face-to-face.
