Graduation

A combined graduation for all trainings will be held on January 1 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at KAY HALL aboard Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island (follow the signs when you get on base). Don’t be late!

ALL GUESTS ATTENDING GRADUATION MUST BE ON OUR BASE SECURITY ROSTER TO BE ALLOWED ON NAVAL STATION NEWPORT.  (Those with existing military base access privileges can ignore this form.)

All guests inside a vehicle, regardless of age, coming for graduation or even just to pick up your cadet must be submitted to us via the online guest list form.  If the name of a vehicle occupant does not appear on our guest list, Base Security will NOT allow you to enter the base.

Graduation will be live-streamed on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/atcnewengland for those who will not attend in person.

Getting on base can take between 15 to 45 minutes, depending on issues and the timing of your arrival. 

State driver’s licenses/ID cards with words to the effect “NOT FOR FEDERAL USE” printed on them will not be allowed access to the base.

Vehicles MUST be able to produce registration and insurance documents for the gate guard to access Naval Station Newport if requested. 

When arriving on base, follow the directions to Gate 1 of Naval Station Newport. If all persons are on our base access roster, you will be asked to present a license or government-issued ID. If granted access, you may proceed to the graduation site.

ALL GUESTS MUST BE APPEAR ON OUR GUEST LIST FORM.

NO SURPRISE GUESTS ARE AUTHORIZED TO ENTER THE BASE. 

(Anyone with existing military base access privileges is exempt from this requirement).
