In learning spaces we work together.
Sometimes we have to work on our own, other times we have to work with our classmates. Being able to do both is awesome!
At times, there are things we can't do unless we have help from others. It might be help from a teacher or a classmate or someone in your whānau.
Let's look at some reasons why it's important to be able to work together.
Option 1 - watch the Bluey episode. Would the friends have been able to achieve their goal if they hadn't worked well together? Did they have to follow instructions to be successful?
Option 2 - give the Human Knot activity a go. Get into groups of 5 or 6 and form a circle. Grab hands with other people across the circle. See if you can untange yourselves without letting go. Give clear instructions, work together, have fun!
What are some important situations where you will have to work well with others? For example, if you are sharing the sandpit? Or there is a dangerous storm and you are stuck on a mountain?
