Kia ora koutou, after our awesome visit from the Southern Jams bands yesterday I noticed how many people put their hand up when asked who in our kura plays an instrument.
In the near future we would love to have our very own school band, we are not sure what that might look like yet BUT we would love for anyone who currently owns and can play an instrument (is confident with their instrument and/or does music lessons) to please meet Whaea Jess in the P.A space at 1:15pm (after eating). You do not need to bring anything with you today, when you get to the P.A space please get in to the instrument group that applys to you (drums, guitars, keys/piano etc).
Vocalists keep your eye on the notices as I will have a seperate session for you next week!
