About Me

Hi, my name is Ms. Ruden and this is my ninth year teaching art full-time in the Solon Community School District.

I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2008 with a B.F.A in

Jewelry and Metal Arts, and my k-12 art education certificate.

I just completed my M.A. in Art Education from the University of

Iowa as well. Jewelry is my favorite material to work with and I often do local

art and craft shows. I also enjoy painting and drawing, especially

portraits and animals. When I am not making art I enjoy running,

cooking, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.
