A variety of field trips will be available this year. Check back frequently for updates and more information as it becomes approved and available. Please note the following:
Any mandatory field trip will be free of charge.
All others field trips are optional and may be canceled if interest level not met by deadline.
Interest level is determined by number of students with completed permission slips AND sufficient deposits made to school bank.
If interest level is not met, deposits may be refunded or reserved for future use as determined in writing by the guardian.
A final commitment deadline will be established for each optional trip and refunds will be made as available. The guardian of any individual being withdrawn from a trip must inform Mrs. Nelson, in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to receive a refund. Requests made after final commitment deadlines are not guaranteed any refund as bills must be paid prior to departure. Typical (not ALL) final commitment deadlines are approximately 30 days before departure.
Deposits may be made at any time, even before a trip is announced to reserve funds. Any unused funds at the year's end may be refunded, reserved for use the following year or transferred to another school account to cover debts.
Any requests for monetary refund or account transfer must be made in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to Mrs. Nelson who will review and appropriately make the request to the school bank. Any remaining funds will automatically be reserved for future use until student graduates. Any unclaimed funds will be considered a donation to the choral program
The chorus field trip account is 165.
Cash and checks are accepted.
Checks must be made payable to GMHS with student name and account number (165) or reason (chorus field trip is sufficient).
Universal Studios

Where: Orlando, FL
Cost: $1110
Description: Transportation to, from and around Orlando, hotel accommodations, 2 day theme park admission. Extra money is needed for food and if souvenirs are wanted.
Interest Deadline (Minimum of $175 deposited AND completed permission slip): Friday, March 1, 2024
Final Commitment Deadline (last day to add to or withdraw from trip for possible refund): Friday, April 5, 2024
