Why: It is important to know the correct terms and tools when using PS to have proper workflow.

Let's discuss what these tools do:
Move, marquee, lasso, quick select, crop, eraser, brush, paint bucket, clone stamp, text, shape, eyedropper, healing...
Today, I want you practice making a new document, sizing it, using the text, move, and paint bucket.
Open PS
File > New
Enter the title, size, and resolution.
Title > Practice Toolis
Size 10 x8
Resolution >300 ALWAYS
Using the text tool, write your name.
Change the font, the size, add a stroke.
Using the move tool, resize and rotate our name.
Make a new layer.
Fill the background with one color using the paint bucket tools.
Keep playing around using the tools so you become familiar with them.
