Street photography is a very straight forward, unapologetic, raw, gritty, un-posed, imposing, in your face style of photography.
People often don't know they are being photographed.
It is still used to today, but made it big in the 1950s and 1960s.
It can seem like a mix of documentary, photo journalism, and editorial photography.

For this assignment, you will need to check out a camera on your own time in the next 3 weeks.
Set your camera settings to A+.
Capture moments as you walk around that captures M-A, your life, your family, friends. If you can, you out and take photos in town...
- Take photos from different angles, without asking/posing people.
- Include 2 close ups, 2 portraits, 2 different angles, 2 detail shots
- When we return, load and check your images.
- Pick your favorite 8 images. Turn them black and white.
- Make global changes such as exposure, levels, curves...
- Place your final images on a slide show in GOOGLE SLIDES
- Slide 1- Titles, your name and where you took your images
- Slide 2- Pick a street photographer. Collect at least 5 inspiring images and write a short paragraph/ bullet points about their work. Include their name- birth date, where they photographed, when they photographed, and what their idea/ theme/ strengths were. Why you picked them? Why are they important?
- The next 8 slides have 1 images on each
- Total of 10 slides OR MORE
- Download the slide show as a PDF
- Turn it is as #_ SP_lastname firstname.JPEG
- As always, late work will be marked down

*Note: If you want to shoot in black and white adjust your camera to monochrome, you must be on Manual to shoot monochrome (Menu > Picture Style > Monochrome).
