The model is HORIZONTAL!
Drag/Open your empty background image in PS
Then drag your model image ON TOP of empty background image
Windows: right click, copy image or save as...
Select the OBJECT SELECTION tool
4. Hover over the main subject (your model) so they are selected PINK
and click ONCE to select (marching ants)
Make sure the image of the model is the TOP layer.
If not, look at your LAYERS and click and drag so that it is on top of your empty background layer.
Click on the top layer
Click the mask button
Create a new layer,
Choose a soft brush, ADJUST the shape, size, opacity and flow...
TIPS: always match the direction, distance, and the light in your image. Observe where the light source is coming from:
if it’s strong and direct, the shadow should be sharp and dark,
if the lighting is soft or diffused, make the shadow lighter and more blurred.
Match the other shadows in the photo.
