The history brush is a digital paint brush that paints in an old effect.
Today, we will turn an image black and white, them BRUSH in color.
Here's how;
1. OPEN THIS IMAGE IN PS
by DRAGGING it to the pS icon
2. Make the image black and white. Under your layers palette click on the HALF CIRLCE
You now have 2 layers
3. MAKE A NEW LAYER
by clicking on the new layer icon
4. Click on your history brush
Make sure your settings are the same as the highlighted one:
5. With LAYER 1 selected,
CAREFULLY paint in the mountain goat/ ram.
It should look like this:
6. Go to FILE >SAVE AS>
Now you will re-do the steps o create an image that looks like this:
Instead of painting the ram, CAREFULLY paint AROUND the ram.
6. Go to FILE >SAVE AS>
Place both on a PS doc.
Flle >New
8.5 by 10 in 300ppi
Place both images on there
File> Save As>
