Last year, the School District of Springfield Township adopted a new math program called enVision Math 2.0. It is a research-based mastery program that is designed to deepen students' abilities to problem solve while thinking critically and mathematically. When students connect ideas, they deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts. Students learn to see relationships, ask questions, and try different approaches. Problem-based learning drives students to engage in productive struggle. EnVision Math 2.0 is organized into clusters of connected topics and lessons, including:

• Adding and subtracting multi-digit numbers
• Multiplying 1 and 2-digit numbers
• Dividing by 1-digit numbers
• Using operations to solve word problems
• Identifying factors and multiples
• Identifying fraction equivalencies
• Ordering fractions

• Interpreting data on line plots
• Understanding and Comparing Decimals
• Measuring and finding unit equivalencies
• Analyzing patterns in algebra
• Understanding concepts of angles and angle measurements
• Identifying and drawing lines, angles, and shapes
