Private Lessons
Private Lessons
Two of the most important reasons to be in band are to have fun and to improve yourself musically and personally. If you want to do these things, then you should seriously consider taking private lessons on your instrument.
Why study?
You will be working with an experienced, caring teacher who is an expert on your instrument and teaches only that instrument to kids like you every day!
YOU WILL HAVE MORE FUN IN BAND BECAUSE YOU WILL FEEL CONFIDENT AND PREPARED!
Below is our list of recommended private teachers. All of them have taught Glenn Westlake Middle School students in the past, and all of them will do great things for you (or your son or daughter). If you would like to discuss your situation in detail, or get a personal recommendation, please don’t hesitate to contact the Mr. Martin. Yes, lessons are an expense, but they are an investment in your child’s musical success. Take full advantage of being in the GWMS band program and consider private lessons.
