Beta Service Minutes were due. They may be emailed to Mrs. Claire if you have not turned them in yet.. Remember you can see how many Beta Service Minutes you have by checking out the SCS Main Page (bit.ly/scspage) and looking under Junior High Beta Service Minute Record. You will not be a Beta member next year if you do not have enough Beta Service Minutes.
There are NO BETA SERVICE MINUTES due for Quarter 4. You may only turn in Beta Service Minutes during Quarter 4 if you do not yet have the 1800 minutes required for the year.
Official Beta Events
ALL members must have at least 2 Official Beta Events this year in order to be a Beta member next year. You can see if you have an Official Beta Event recorded by checking out the SCS Main Page (bit.ly/scspage) and looking under JH Official Beta Event Record.
If you are still in need of an Official Beta Event or would like to help others in the community, consider participating in our Quarter 4 Beta Service Minute Project. IDEAS:
Chalk Your Walk - Decorate the end of your driveway with an inspiring image or words
"Visit" with a Grandparent - Older adults often feel lonely and isolated because of the pandemic. Call or video chat with a grandparent or other older neighbor to check on them and give them someone to talk to.
Video of Book Reading - Record yourself reading a favorite children's story. Email the video to Mrs. Claire. She will post videos for younger SCS students to enjoy read alouds.
If you have other ideas, let me know. They may be added to our list of accepted activities!
