  • Clodiagh Gaels Football Champions visit The victorious Clodiagh Gaels Junior Footballers visited Scoil Shinchill on the 9th of November. Team mentor Pat Cooney introduced the lads to the pupils and spoke to the boys and girls about the benefits of being involved in sport. Despite bringing in an impressive trophy, he told the boys and girls the main benefit of playing football was not winning cups but rather getting together with your friends to do something you love.We are very grateful to the lads for taking time off work to visit us in school. Their positive message was very well received and we wish them well in next years championship.
