  • Fáile Vintage Club Annual Tractor Run Killeigh N.S has been selected as one of the beneficiaries of Fàile Vintage Club's Annual Tractor Run. This will take place on March 10th. Registration will begin at 9.30am, at Seery's Bar and Lounge, Daingean and the tractors will then travel a route from Daingean to Killeigh. A raffle and an auction will take place on the day. We are delighted that our school has been chosen to participate in this fantastic fundraising opportunity. Please help to spread the word and invite people to like our Facebook Tractor Run .   • Grandparents Day - Save the Date Thurs 31st of Jan. We would like to make people aware of the date for this years Grandparents day. Grandparents day has become one of the most popular events in the school calendar and is eagerly looked forward to by pupils and grandparents alike.This years event will take place on Thurs 31st of January. We are still planning this years event and we hope to have more details by the end of the week.

  • Christmas Enterprise Fair a Massive Success Children from 6th class held a hugely successful Christmas Fair in the school over two days this month. A huge amount of work went into it’s preparation and many items were available for sale including wreaths, snow globes, baking, Christmas logs and decorations. 2,300 euro was raised during the event and this will be split equally between two charities – Dóchas and Jigsaw.

  • Christmas Concert / Carol Service The Christmas spirit was alive and well yesterday 18th December as the boys and girls of Junior Infants to 2nd class performed a Christmas concert in the school hall. Senior Infants started off proceedings with a very entertaining play called Away in A Manger. Junior Infants then performed a medley of songs. followed by 1st class who performed a medley of songs and a spoken word piece about the goofy reindeer. Our daytime concert was finished off by 2nd class who performed the traditional nativity.Later that evening the boys and girls of 2nd class through to 6th class performed in Killeigh church.
