LNA Training

Every nursing home in New Hampshire needs LNAs. These individuals provide critical services and the current shortfall in workers is hindering the ability of some nursing homes to take additional clients. Filling these positions is vital to ensuring that there are sufficient resources available to care for these individuals in their time of need. Click HERE to learn more.

Other LNA training is offered at Lakes Region Community College and White Mountains Community College. See the link for ApprenticeshipNH above to learn about LNA apprenticeships.

ASVAB: What is it?

The ASVAB is a test that students will take that lasts about 2 hours with Math, English and science/tech questions. This test allows you to measure a student’s aptitude and interest to provide a list of jobs that fit those two categories. Each job provides educational requirements, entry and average pay scales and information about what they do and how to get there. If they are in high school it helps them set up Career Technical Education classes that align with what they want to do once they graduate, if they are a senior it provides a path on what to do when they graduate. It also can be used for military entrance if the student desires.
