EXAMEN OUTLINE

A. Phonetic Accuracy (10%)

1.) You will fill in vowels and nasal sounds that you hear me pronounce.

2.) You will read me a paragraph to demonstrate your ability to do connect sounds using liaison.

B. Small "Café" Groups (50%) – In groups of 3, you will be giving the following sets of information in French:

1.) Qui es-tu? - You must give all the information from the study sheet. The more information you voluntarily give from memory, the better your grade. Also, the more extra detail, the better (i.e. j'étudie l'algèbre vs. les maths). The other members will help you remember what you've forgotten by asking you the questions of the topics you forgot, at the end of your presentation.

2.) I will follow up with these questions:

Qu'est-ce que tu aimes faire en plein air?

De quoi as-tu besoin pour être heureux?

Qu'est-ce que tu viens de faire en période (4/5)?

Qu'est-ce que tu vas faire après les cours?

Qu'est-ce que ton père est en train de faire?

De quoi as-tu peur?

3. Qui est-ce? - Try giving as much of this information as you can using the photo of ONE person in your family IN COMPLETE SENTENCES. Again, your group will ask follow up questions.
