Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance
Wednesday & Friday
10:15 am – 11:00 am Tai Chi (Intermediate)
11:15 am – noon Tai Chi (Beginners)
Tai Chi can decrease the number of falls, fall risk and fear of falling. Also it has shown to benefit Parkinson's patients and visually impaired seniors. Slow, low-impact movements that emphasize weight-shifting and postural alignment. Movements progress from easy to more difficult. No special clothing is needed.
Beginning Friday, January 3, 2020, Wendy Stone will offer Intermediate Tai Chi from 10:15 am to 11:00 am followed by Beginner's Tai Chi from 11:15 am to 12:00 pm. Both classes will be offered twice weekly on Wednesday and Friday thereafter, except when the Senior Center is closed. All Santiam Senior Center members are welcome and as always, there is no charge for SSC members in good standing.
Thank you, Wendy!
We might be "Over the Hill", but we are still YOUNG AT HEART!!!
We celebrate our member's birthdays the last Tuesday of each month, during the Potluck lunch. Noon to 3:30 pm
