The Ocean Floor

Your objective is to be able to correctly label the parts of the ocean floor.

Today you have a choice of how you will present this information. You can create a Google Slides presentation OR Make a Mini-Poster. . These are the parts that we need to make sure that you can identify and label: Continent, Continental Shelf, Continental Slope, Continental Rise, Abyssal Plain, Submarine Ridge, Volcanic Island, Mid-Ocean Ridge, and anything else that you find interesting.

You have complete freedom as to how you create your mini poster or google slides presentation but....

1. You must be complete by the end of class tomorrow.

2. You must include all these: Continent, Continental Shelf, Continental Slope, Continental Rise, Abyssal Plain, Submarine Ridge, Volcanic Island, Mid-Ocean

Ridge, and anything else that you find interesting.

3. Posters must have color, labels, and a touch of creativity.

4. Google Slides Presentations must include images, color, creativity, and animations.

5. You must be able to also complete this practice on the ocean floor.

This image is neat looking and has some good information but it does not have Continental Rise.
