Drive - Google's Cloud Storage
Access, organize, and share all your files from any device, anywhere.
Faculty, staff, and students have unlimited storage for Google Drive with Google Apps for Education.
Google's official Google Drive introduction website is available at http://www.google.com/drive/about.html.
Additional Google Drive training, including an interactive tour, can be found at http://www.google.com/drive.
The biggest benefit of Google Drive is the real-time collaboration features - you and a colleague/peer can view and edit the same document at the same time from different locations, making group projects easier to complete.
Google Drive can be used to transfer large files - it allows a maximum file size of up to 10GB. (Google Mail has a maximum file size of 25MB for attachments.)
Control who should have access to files - just you, other specific individuals, anyone at Saint Mary's College, anyone you share the link with, or anyone on the Internet. For details on sharing settings, click here.
Additional information about Google's productivity software applications (Docs, Sheets, and Slides) included with Google Drive can be found here.
