Mr. Gonzalez has two grown daughters, 7 Grand-kids. He has been teaching at RRHS for 24 years and 4 at Lubbock ISD. He is a graduate from Wyoming Technical School and is currently an ASE Certified Technician. He received his teaching Certification from Waylon Baptist University.

Mr. Gonzalez's other interests include:  

• SkillsUSA Adviser.

• RRHS Horse Club 

• Ferrier

• 19th. century Living History reenactor(1830-1890)

• 4 Horses, 6 Miniature horses, Chickens, Dogs

• Member of the Texas Equestrian Trail Riders Association.

• Level 1 Archery Instructor

• Kayaking
