Welcome to Ms. DeVoss's Biomedical Innovations Class Website. This year, we will be learning a variety of techniques and concepts related to medical diagnoses, discoveries, and treatments. This course is the 4th and final year in the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Biomedical Science program. It builds off of the previously taken courses (Principles of Biomed, Human Body Systems, and Medical Interventions). The goal of this course is to help students find and design innovative solutions for the most pressing health challenges of the 21st century. Students address topics ranging from public health and biomedical engineering to clinical medicine and physiology.
Please use the links on the sidebar to navigate. Course materials, assignment descriptions, & unit resources are located in Schoology. We will also be using the PLTW website regularly. Parents/guardians will be given access to Schoology through their Parent Account, allowing them to view your child's progress. Parent codes will be given to parents within the first few weeks of school. Parent instructions from RRISD are available here. Email Ms DeVoss if you need assistance. rebecca_devoss@roundrockisd.org
