I am looking forward to a fun and engaging semester teaching Forensic Science, Medical Interventions, & Biomedical Innovations this year. This will be by 10th year teaching at CRHS. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Illinois State University and Master's Degree in Public Health at the University of Illinois in Chicago. I have over ten years of experience working as a microbiologist and mentoring students at the University of Illinois Chicago. Many of the techniques that I have used in my past research work will be taught throughout our classroom activities and laboratory exercises this year.
As a Chicago-native, I am no stranger to cold winters so I appreciate the year-round living that Central Texas provides... it's amazing! I enjoy many outdoor adventures such as camping, SUP, biking, and hiking. My wife and I have two lovable yellow labs and a min-pin that enjoy the outdoors as much as we do!
