Creating a Student Home Access Account

Today you are going to create your own Home Access Account. This is your own log-in separate from your parents’ log-in. You will use this account to monitor your progress in school on an individual basis and it will be a requirement for many of your classes.

Follow the steps closely!

1. Go online to the Pearson Ranch website. https://pearsonranch.roundrockisd.org/
2. Click on the Home Access Center. This will take you to the RRISD HAC page.
3. Click the Home Access Center icon on the left side of the page.
4. At the login page select “Click here to Register for HAC.”
5. On the next page you will need to enter the following information.
   1. Your legal first name. (Ex. Madison instead of Maddie)
   2. Your legal last name.
   3. City
   4. Zip Code
6. Click “Register”
7. The next screen will request your username. You need to enter s plus your 6 digit student id. (ex. s123456)

1. IMPORTANT: **You must enter and answer these questions.**
   1. In what city were you born?
   2. In what month were you born? (spell it out: December, not Dec)
2. Read through the privacy policy and agree to it. (Abbreviated below)
   1. You must keep your information confidential.
   2. If you choose to share your information, you will not hold RRISD responsible for sharing student records with someone that gets access to those records or your password.
3. Click “Finish”
4. Your password will be sent to your RRISD email address.
5. Go to www.gmail.com to login into your email.
6. Your email address is s plus your student id.

(Ex. s123456@student.roundrockisd.org)

1. Your email password is the same password you use to log into a school computer.
2. Open the email from Home Access Center.
3. Click on the link provided in the email to complete your registration.
4. In Home Access, answer the security questions.
5. You will enter your password again.
6. Enter your password again as confirmation. Write your password down in a safe place.
7. Click “Confirm Password”
8. Now you can go to “Classwork” to check your grades.
9. Always log out on the top right hand of the screen before logging off of your computer.
