Zoomed In Colored Pencils
The ability to crop an image can make a significant difference in the final product. For this project, we will push it to the extreme by cropping an image so much that it becomes abstract. You will looking to find images with interesting patterns, colors, and textures to create a new viewpoint for the image. We will be drawing the image using a grid.
The project will also be a test of your color pencil skills. I am looking to see a variety of shading, blending, and color mixing techniques. The picture you chose should challenge your skills.
