    • Why this course? (motivation and commitment/research skills)

    • Why do you want to study in the UK?

    • Academic ability (independent study skills/awards)

    • Relevant work experience/volunteering or research/wider reading

    • Conclusion - summary to reinforce your commitment and enthusiasm

    • Put yourself ‘in the shoes’ of the admissions tutor. What will they be interested to hear about you?
