In Years 9 and 10, students engage in a structured process of exploration and reflection to help inform their future IB subject choices, university pathways, and career aspirations. Through personalised guidance, career counselling, and exposure to a range of academic disciplines, they develop a deeper understanding of their strengths, interests, and goals. They participate in subject taster sessions, university fairs, and career workshops, gaining insights into potential fields of study and professional opportunities. Additionally, students receive expert advice on IB subject selection, ensuring alignment with their future ambitions while keeping options open for a variety of pathways. This comprehensive approach empowers them to make informed, confident decisions about their academic and professional futures.
In Years 11, 12 and 13 students progress to Unifrog, a platform that is designed to help international students discover career options, labour market information and find and apply to the best global universities. Students and parents are provided with a personal login and password.

2. Explore your options. Think about subject choices, further and higher education, apprenticeships and the world of work. Gain insight by attending university presentations, career fairs and open days.
3. Make choices. Rate your options in order of preference and create an action plan. What help or support do you need to make a decision?
4. Take action. Now is the time to seek out opportunities, produce tailored applications and perfect your interview skills.
