Computer projection in 330

The projector is connected to the computer in two ways:

1.) Computer VGA connection to Sanyo projector

-Useful for onscreen demo and playback of Quicktime movies in Quicktime Player

-Will result in normal motion and interlace artifacting during fullscreen playback - just as any computer display will.

2.) Blackmagic Intensity HDMI to Sanyo projector

-Will compensate for interlacing and framerate and play back a 'true' image with 'true' motion, no artifacting.

-ONLY plays from Final Cut Pro or Avid. Quicktime Player does not communicate with the Blackmagic card.

Blackmagic Playback

Use the projector remote to select HDMI 1; this is how the Blackmagic is connected to the projector.

Bring your file into Final Cut Pro. Playback will work from either the Player or Canvas window.

Go to View--->Video Playback; select Blackmagic 1080i 59.94

Go to View--->External Video: select All Frames

Image should display onscreen, with control maintained on the computer monitor.

Restore Computer Monitor Display

You should be able to return to monitor display by pressing the Laptop/PC button on the switcher aboard the rack.
