Color Correction: 2 day slots. Day 1 - you will prep your timeline and media for color correction (see here ); and conform the edit in Davinci Resolve. With a partner, who will be operating the console while you monitor the image, you will then begin a 1st-pass grade. Day 1/2: Finish the 1st-pass grade and then do a 2nd pass for special looks and final appearance. Export the graded material and place it into your master edit timeline.

Mix Prep: Outputting a reference picture file for the mixer; outputting an OMF file of your sound edit; preparing a ProTools session from the OMF; sorting your tracks according to their category for ease of use in the mix; getting all these elements onto a hard drive for transport. See these two notes: Mixed Sample Rates, Soundmix Prep

Mix: combining the multiple tracks of your sound edit into a single stereo stream. Leveling all elements for best dramatic effect and/or clarity. Applying special effects to audio. Spatialization of audio. Output of mixdown.

Mastering: Placing together mastered (color corrected) picture with mixed-down audio, confirmation of sync. Final render of picture and sound out to multiple formats: Master (Uncompressed 8/10 Bit), Show (Prores 422), Mobile (h264). WATCHING of show version all the way through and greenlighting release.
