Our Focus:

The Ridge View Scholars Academy Magnet for Business and Law is an energetic learning community of highly motivated students committed to achieving the goals of a challenging academic curriculum focused on Business and Law.

We offer broad exposure to the student's chosen magnet strand through an in-depth study of various topics and engagement in problem-based learning that extend students' understanding of legal, finance and business issues and concepts in the 21st century.

Through an enriched personalized program of interdisciplinary study, students develop a better understanding of their field of study and are better prepared to serve the community.

Our History:

The Scholar's Academy began in 2005 as program for bright students who wanted to learn to apply an interdisciplinary perspective on their learning. Since that time we have focused on building on the strengths and interest of it participants by offering Humanities, Science and Math clusters.

The Academy focuses on three areas: a challenging program, the Scholar's Symposium, and the Parents of Scholars to provide a complete learning experience for the whole family. The challenging programs gives students smaller classes that are more demanding.

The Scholar's Symposium plans community service projects and is a social club.

The Parents of Scholars is an organization for parents to get involved in their student's educational journey. It provides them with information that can help with the college application process and challenges that the student's may face.
