Chemistry Honors

Welcome to Chemistry Honors! Throughout this year you will encounter many topics in chemistry as well as the computations that go along with those topics. We will discuss atoms, bonding, molecules, chemical reactions, states of matter, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, acids and bases, and much more. You will need to bring your textbook, notes and pen/pencil, and calculator to class every day. We'll be doing several labs throughout the year and during these we'll not only verify information that has been presented to you, but also determine the relationships between variables by experimentation. It's going to be a great year! If you have questions, be sure to ask them. I'm available for help before school from 7:30 until 7:55am, during lunch, and after school until about 3pm.
