Worksheets are handed out each Monday and are due back on Friday. They are expected to do a little bit every night and bring it back on the day it is due. Children are to complete what they can on the worksheet and are expected to read every night, please encourage your child to read a range of reading material. Reading 15 - 20 minutes a night can make a big difference.

Some ideas for the School Holidays…

• Visit the local library and select a variety of books to read

• Keep a holiday diary - write down what you do each day

• Play board and card games or complete jigsaw puzzles

• Cook or bake - using measuring cups, spoons and scales

• Visit some blogs and leave comments

• Look at junk mail - what would they buy if they had $10, $20 or $50?

• Write shopping lists

• Play maths ‘I Spy’ - "I spy something with 4 sides".

• Make up a fitness routine (5 push ups, 3 sit ups, run for 2 minutes…)

• Write and send letters or cards to friends and family members

• Do word searches and cross words

• Go to the local swimming pools
