Advocacy Letter from Prairie Spirit School Division Board - March 2nd
Thank you to our communities for your feedback on our February 17th community letter, outlining your school board’s concerns about changes and potential changes to education in the province, with possible negative impacts on schools, students and communities in Prairie Spirit. Since then, you may have had the opportunity to participate in our virtual public budget meeting, held February 24th. Both the

Dear Prairie Spirit School Division Families,

Prior to the 2019 MB Education Review hearings, we engaged our public to give you facts around our situation in Prairie Spirit and invited you to share your views with your local MLA and to participate in the Review. Two years later, as your elected school board, we feel an obligation to share with you some of our concerns regarding provincial changes that are public and have occurred since then. Ultimately, the schools in our communities are your schools, and the children whose education will be affected by changes are your children. Read more...

The Mountain Mustangs High School Hockey Team

is looking for coaches for their 2021-2022 team, pending approval of a Return to Play plan from Hockey Manitoba and MHSAA.

Candidates must have successful coaching experience, be highly motivated, be committed, and have a coaching philosophy aligned with that of the Manitoba High School Athletics Association.

Coaches are asked to submit a letter of application and coaching resume with three coaching references to Marvin Gundrum at For more information, email Marvin Gundrum. Applications are due by Wednesday, August 11th.
