A+ School Program

Polo High School is proud to announce our A+ Schools designation and provide new educational opportunities for our graduates, starting with the class of 2014!

The A+ Schools Program was established by the Missouri General Assembly as part of the Outstanding Schools Act of 1993 in an effort to make college or vocational/technical education available to every Missouri high school graduate. Graduates of a designated A+ school who successfully complete the requirements of the program may be eligible to receive "up to" two years free tuition to a designated community college or public Missouri vocational/technical school of their choice.

Student participation in this program is voluntary and non-restrictive. Student's planning to attend a 4-year institute may also be eligible to receive scholarships by receiving their A+ certification. Students are encouraged to start participation in this program early as all 4 years of their high school career will be factored in for eligibility. To sign up for the A+ Schools program students and parents need to complete the Agreement Form and return to the A+ Schools Coordinator.
