AP Physics
This is the information page for the AP Physics class at Amador Valley. Lots more information will be supplied when the school year starts in August.
The district will provide the 10 edition of the Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday, Resnick and Walker. You do not need to pick it up until school starts in August. There is not any assigned summer work. Here is an old short intro video.
Once the school year starts if you have not taken Physics at Amador Valley you will need to study outside of class to learn the material ahead of each unit that I am expecting you walk into the class already knowing. If I can I'll link additional worksheets or video suggestions for each topic but you cannot rely on me providing the information all the time. This AP class is designed to be a second year Physics course.
If you would like to review/ learn some basic physics concepts these are a few YouTube series that I like. Again, I do not expect you to learn a year of physics in a summer. But it would be nice to learn some of the vocabulary if you don't know it.

Many materials will be here but more will be in your Google Classroom. Be sure to get the code for Google Classroom from your teacher.
