RUBIK CUBE
We have started to learn all about the Rubik cube. We are currently learning the algorithms to solve the Rubik cube. We are solving it one layer at a time. After we solve the complete cube, we will be creating some Rubik art with them. Look for those pictures to come soon.
Reel Spirit Film Festival
Each year we submit a film to the Kansas City Reel Spirit Young Filmmakers. Fifth Grade created a documentary for their submissions. Students picked the topic, researched, interviewed and edited the film

One Little Word
A new tradition that we started this year "One Little Word". To start the year, we thought about what was something that we wanted to improve on in the year 2022. We pick one little word that we wanted to help remind us of that goal.
Origami Traditions
Some traditions should continue no matter who started them. We completed yet another ornament for your tree. We hope that you have enjoyed them! We enjoyed making them.
BATTLE OF THE BRAINS HERE WE COME!
Fifth grade has been working hard on their Battle of the Brains exhibit! They created a list of ideas for a brand new exhibit, they voted on the one they liked the best (they were all great ideas). From there they started creating their exhibit. They have been working hard every day to get this completed. We will be submitting our proposal this week. Ask them to tell you all about their exhibit proposal.
