Philosophy

The Technology Education Curriculum at the Middle School of Plainville, in accordance with both state and national guidelines, is organized into four major areas of focus: Communication, Construction, Manufacturing, and Transportation. The program provides students with the opportunity to develop a better understanding of their interests, abilities and ambitions in these areas. With this in mind, Mrs. Westfall strives to provide a broad range of technical experiences for students as well as giving students a better grasp of our ever changing technical world.
