Welcome to Intro to Psychology! This semester-long course introduces students to psychological research and concepts of human behavior. The focus of this course will be to make psychology applicable to your own life. With an emphasis on positive psychology and tangible strategies for healthy mental wellbeing, I hope this course will help you gain a better understanding of yourself and our world. Course materials and projects will be self reflective in nature and allow for a great deal of introspection and creative expression.
It should be noted that because this class is only a single semester, it is only a brief introduction to psychology. Students interested in learning more in-depth psychology should speak to Mr. Quinn regarding taking Advanced Placement (AP) Psychology.
