Good Evening Parents and Guardians of EEJUST MS, these are our current announcements.
· The last day to submit your child's - transition registration and proof of residence will be Friday, June 3rd. After June 3rd you will have to complete the registration process at the High School or your child will not receive a schedule on the first day of school. Please contact the guidance office for additional questions.
· 7th grade awards program is June 8th at 6:30 pm. Letters of invitation have been sent home by students.
· 8th grade promotion will be June 15th. A letter has been sent home with details concern which of the two ceremonies your student will participate in and what to wear. Should you have any questions please see Ms. Kanika Dorsey.
· The 8th grade dance will be June 6th, at 6:00 at the Odyssey Boat. 7th graders are welcome to attend, however the $60 for the ticket is due Tuesday, June 1st. Should you have any questions or concerns please contact Ms. Gloria Bumpass.
· 8th grade parents..... Summer school applications have been sent home. If your child needs to attend, please follow through using instructions noted in mailing.
· Please remind your students to check their rooms and closets for books. Books not returned must be paid for before promotion tickets are distributed.
· Library checkout ends for the year this Friday, May 27, 2011.
All books, whether OVERDUE OR NOT, must be returned to the Library Media Center by Wednesday, June 1, 2011.
ATTENTION EIGHTH GRADERS: You will NOT be able to receive your promotion tickets or participate in the ceremony if you have any outstanding book obligations. This includes library books AND textbooks.
Please see Mrs. Gainous in library if you have a question about a library obligation.
Please see Mrs. Bishop in the guidance office if you have a question about a textbook obligation.
And as a reminder the last day of school is June 17th
