These are our current announcements:

The Prince George’s County Health Department is hosting four FREE immunization clinics at PGCPS sites between June 12 and June 13, 2015. Clinics are open from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. and you must preregister by calling 301-883-7859. Please bring your child’s immunization record and any letter that you received about immunizations from your child’s school.

The following vaccines are required for the 2015-2016 school year IN ADDITION to all other required childhood immunizations:

Students Entering Kindergarten and Grade 1:

• Two varicella vaccinations (Chickenpox Vaccine)

Students Entering Grades 7 and 8:

• One Tdap vaccination (Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis Vaccine)

• One meningococcal vaccine

8th grade parents we are excited to announce that promotion tickets will be distributed starting tomorrow, Wednesday, June 3, 2015. All of this week we will distribute tickets through out the day ending at 3:00 pm. Next week hours will change to from 8am to 11 am . Only have the legal guardian or parent with a drivers license come to retrieve tickets.

8th Grade parents: Our end of the year activities for 8th graders will begin on June 11th with a fun day. Fun day will be here on the campus from 12:00- 3:00 pm. Our 8th grade Junior Prom will be June 12th 6-9 pm and concluding with a promotion ceremony on June 15th at Henry Wise HS at 6:00. Students participating in promotion are expected to arrive no later than 5:30 pm.

As we are rapidly approaching the end of the school year, students should be cleaning out their lockers and searching for all textbooks. We will soon be asking students for textbooks and stop the use of lockers before the last day of school.

All students are expected to wear their full Ernest Everett Just Middle School Uniform everyday through the last day of school. Please discuss wardrobe choices each day with your student. As a reminder Ernest Just eagles do NOT wear shorts on dress down days or regular days.
