Cadet Enlisted Ranks

Cadet Airman (C/Amn)

DUTY REQUIREMENTS: Complete one Community Service Activity with JROTC, and cadet promotion form.

PERFORMANCE/MEMORY WORK: Know the first five enlisted cadet ranks, Recite Cadet Honor Code and Pledge of Allegiance

DRILL EXECUTION: Perform/execute the listed commands: Left Face, Right Face, About Face, Attention, Parade Rest

Cadet Airman First Class (C/A1C)

DUTY REQUIREMENTS: Complete one Community Service Activity with JROTC, and cadet promotion form.

PERFORMANCE/MEMORY WORK: Identify all cadet ranks upon visual observation.

DRILL EXECUTION: Perform/execute the first ten commands of the 30-step Drill Sequence.

Cadet Senior Airman (C/SrA)

DUTY REQUIREMENTS: Complete one Community Service Activity with JROTC, and cadet promotion form.

PERFORMANCE/MEMORY WORK: List all cadet officer/enlisted ranks without reference, Properly fold the US Flag, and recite the Air Force Core Values

DRILL EXECUTION: Perform/execute the listed commands: Lead the first 10 of the 30 command drill sequence in order

Cadet Staff Sergeant (C/SSgt)

DUTY REQUIREMENTS: Complete one Community Service Activity with JROTC, one fundraising activity, and cadet promotion form.

PERFORMANCE/MEMORY WORK: List all the commands of the 30-Step Drill sequence in order; Grade of “B” or better in JROTC; Recite MD-761 Chain of Command; Know MD-761 Teams and how cords are earned; List all Cadet and Air Force ranks.

DRILL EXECUTION: Perform/execute the listed commands: Lead the first 15 of the 30 command drill sequence in order

Cadet Technical Sergeant (C/TSgt)

DUTY REQUIREMENTS: Complete one Community Service Activity with JROTC, successfully hold a leadership position in a flight, one fundraising activity, and cadet promotion form

PERFORMANCE/MEMORY WORK: List all the commands of the 30- Step Drill sequence in order; Grade of “B” or better in JROTC; Speech of self-discipline to flight; Presentation on ROTC Scholarships; Recite the Cadet Creed.

DRILL EXECUTION: Perform/execute the listed commands: Lead a group of cadets through 30 command drill sequence.

Cadet Master Sergeant (C/MSgt)

DUTY REQUIREMENTS: Lead one Community Service Activity with JROTC; Knowledge of WINGs/Updates; successfully hold a leadership position in a flight, one fundraising activity, and cadet promotion form.

PERFORMANCE/MEMORY WORK: List all the commands of the 30- Step Drill sequence in order; Grade of “B” or better in JROTC; Recite Cadet Creed; Briefing on cadet promotion system and how they were selected.

Cadet Senior Master Sergeant (C/SMSgt)

DUTY REQUIREMENTS: lead one Community Service Activity with JROTC; Lead one fundraising activity; cadet promotion form and recommended by the senior cadet staff.

PERFORMANCE/MEMORY WORK: Knowledgeable of WINGS, Active member of cadet staff and corps activities; Engaged with Flight Leadership, List all the commands of the 30- Step Drill sequence in order; Grade of “B” or better in JROTC; 3 Speeches on leadership planning and lines of authority; List all cadet and Air Force ranks from memory

DRILL EXECUTION: Perform/execute the listed commands: Lead a group of cadets through 30 command drill sequence.

Cadet Chief Master Sergeant (C/CMSgt)

DUTY REQUIREMENTS: Consistent leadership in MD-761; Active in extracurricular activities; lead/led several activities with MD-761; Graduate of Cadet Leadership Course, recommended by the senior cadet staff.

PERFORMANCE/MEMORY WORK: List all the commands of the 30-Step Drill sequence in order; Grade of “B” or better in JROTC; List all cadet and Air Force ranks from memory; Know skills/techniques of planning/decision making, driving change, stress, innovation, individual/group behavior, the communication process, and the characteristics of good leadership; Explain why we say "Praise in Public, Correct in Private" to subordinates; Recite the Cadet Creed from memory.

CADET OFFICER RANKS

Company Grade (c/2d Lt—c/Capt)

DUTY REQUIREMENTS: Holds position on the cadet staff; participate in one Community Service Activity with JROTC; lead a Leadership Development Requirement (LDR) Activity; participate in one fundraise ing activity; cadet promotion form, and recommended by the senior cadet staff. Grade of 80% better in knowledge test of functional area.

PERFORMANCE/MEMORY WORK: Regularly processes WINGS updates; Active member of cadet staff and corps activities; Engaged with Flight Leadership, list all the commands of the 30-Step Drill sequence in order; Grade of “B” or better in JROTC; Passing all classes.

DRILL EXECUTION: Perform/execute the listed commands: Lead a group of cadets through 30 command drill sequence.

Field Grade (c/Maj – c/Col)

DUTY REQUIREMENTS: lead one Community Service Activity with JROTC; participate in one fundraising activity, cadet promotion form, recommended by the SASI, ASI and Grade Level Administrator; Grade of 80% better in knowledge test in area (s) of responsibility; participate in Cadet Leadership Course as an instructor.

PERFORMANCE/MEMORY WORK: Knowledgeable of WINGS,

Active member of cadet staff and corps activities; Engaged with Flight Leadership, List all the commands of the 30- Step Drill sequence in order; Grade of “B” or better in JROTC; No classes lower than a “C.”

DRILL EXECUTION: Perform/execute the listed commands: Lead a group of cadets through 30 command drill sequence.
