RtI came about because of the evidence that early identification and intervention are critical for students at risk. Collaboration among all faculty members and joint ownership of a problem-solving process is essential for RtI to work. All students are RtI students.

Referring teacher completes a Coaching Request (online).
Curriculum/Pupil Services provides RtI Coaching Confirmation and sets up a time to meet with the teacher(s).
Referring teacher completes Strengths & Concerns Matrix.
Coach completes Five Why's form.
Coach completes RtI Snapshot to determine intervention and implementation schedule. Teacher will continue marking the RtI Snapshot throughout the plan.
Teacher of record contacts parent to make aware of increased support and movement to coaching by instructional specialists.
Intervention services begin and/or continue.
Data Checks are conducted with RtI Coach, and the RtI Snapshot is completed.
