A key feature of Tier 2 and Tier 3 School-wide PBIS is effective, efficient team processes using data-based decision making. The Individual-PBS (I-PBS) teaming process provides an effective model for teaming and data-based decision making.

I-PBS Team Objectives
Use data to guide decision making
Early identification of students requiring individual behavior supports (Tier 2 & Tier 3)
Matching students to interventions efficiently and effectively
Monitoring student progress on Tier 2 & Tier 3 interventions
Monitoring Tier 2 & Tier 3 interventions and systems in the school
Logistics
The I-PBS team should meet every 2 weeks, meetings should last between 30-60 minutes
I-PBS Team members should include
Building Administrator
Tier 2 Intervention Coordinator(s) - often School Counselor, School Psychologist, etc.
Behavior Specialists - often School Psychologist, Special Education Teachers
